2021 FFA State Champion Land Judging Team!
Congratulations to our FFA Land Judging Team on a job well done. They earned their 1st place finish at the state land judging event which was held yesterday in Inkster ND.

2021 Land Judging Participants

The football bus leaving from New England, for practices in Mott, is changing to 6:15 AM. The bus will leave New England, for practices in Regent, at 6:30 AM.

The 4-5-6 football meeting will be later this afternoon, Thursday August 5, at 4:30. There will have a quick parent meeting and equipment handout at the field north of school.

The first week of football practice is scheduled for August 5th in Mott. Bus will leave New England at 6:00 AM. Friday, Aug 6th practice in Mott bus will leave New England at 6:00 AM. Saturday, Aug 7th practice in New England starting at 7:30 AM.
The second week of practice: Monday, August 9th in Regent bus will leave New England at 6:15 AM. Tuesday, August 10th in New England at 7:30 AM. Wednesday, August 11th back in Regent bus will leave New England at 6:15 AM. August 12th practice in New England at 7:30 AM. Friday, August 13th practice in Mott bus will leave New England at 6:00 AM. Saturday, August 14th practice in New England at 7:30 AM.
Third week of practice: Monday, August 16th practice in New England at 3:30 PM. Tuesday, August 17th practice in New England at 3:30 PM. Wednesday, August 18th practice in Regent bus will leave New England at 2:15 PM. Thursday, August 19th practice in Mott bus will leave New England at 2:00 PM. Friday game with Napolean.

The deadline to order a yearbook is quickly approaching. Yearbooks include all students in the elementary and the high school.

The regular price is $44.99. You can customize your yearbook with two pages of your own photos. Each additional two page customization will cost $0.99 each.

Due to the New England Public School building project, all students must take their music instruments home for the summer break. All of our music equipment will have to be moved during the summer break. If your child is performing tonight, please have them take their instrument home tonight.

Congratulations to our Mott-Regent-New England track team and coaches on a successful season! The following students will be representing us at state next week: Keziah Erickson in discuss, javelin, and shotput; Nathan Kaufman in javelin; Hannah Frank in 300-meter hurdles; Sophie Olsonawski in the 3200-meter run; and Kallie Dinius, Carly Wolf, Sophie Olsonawski, and Ruby Nasset in the 4x800-meter relay.

The PUBLIC is invited to attend the Grades 7-12 Music Festivals Concert & Awards Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 25, at 6:00 p.m. ~~~IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS are invited to attend the following activities on Wednesday, May 26. Times given are approximate. Kindergarten graduation is at 8:30 a.m. Students may leave with their parents after their ceremony.~~~Grades 1st through 3rd Elementary Awards will be at 8:45 a.m. ~~~Grades 4th through 6th Elementary Awards will be at 9:15 a.m. ~~~Junior High Sports & Academic Awards will be at 9:45 p.m. ~~~Honor Society Induction & Academic Awards will be at 10:15 a.m. ~~~Students are allowed to leave with parents following their awards.

All student devices will be collect in the afternoon of Friday, May 21st.
If you are not going to be in school on Friday, May 21, please be sure to bring your device to your classroom teacher or Mrs. Witte before then.
You must have ALL of your accessories (charger, keyboard, case) or you will be charged for their replacement.

2021-2022 School Calendar


All library books are due back THIS FRIDAY, May 14. Please check carefully at home for any classroom books and textbooks as well.

Announcement from the NE Booster Club:
Students in Grades 1-6 are welcome to participate in Missoula Children's Theater which is scheduled to come NEXT WEEK, May 17 - May 21.
On May 17, auditions would be held at Memorial Hall from 3:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Students would need to commit to the whole week of rehearsals after school until 7:45 p.m. and the two performances on Saturday, May 22, at 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Permission forms will be sent home tomorrow at the latest and must be returned no later than THIS UPCOMING FRIDAY. The theater group relies on parent volunteers and donations as well. There will be a place at the bottom of the permission form to sign up.
Play participants will be required to wears masks during all the practices and rehearsals but not for the performances. Audience members will be required to wear masks for the performances. There is a fee of $7 for adults and $5 for students to attend the play.

Bismarck Band Night is on Friday, May 14 at 5:30 MDT. The parade will start at the Capitol, go down 6th Street, west on Avenue A, and north up 4th Street to return near the Capitol.
The band students will be leaving for band night at 8:15 a.m. The students must pack their own lunches, beverages, and money. The dress code is wear comfortable walking shoes, their best blue jeans, and their band night shirt. Only our Southwest Marching Band caps and beanies are allowed to be worn on the head and sunglasses are fine as well. Dress appropriately underneath the band night shirt in case weather is chilly.

The FINAL deadline for signing up for Driver's Education is Friday, May 7th at 9:00 a.m. The schedule for classes will be set up after that date.
There is NO track meet on Saturday, May 8, due to weather.
The junior high track team will be leaving at 11:30 a.m. for Dickinson to compete at the BAC on Monday, May 10, at 1:00 p.m.

Notable Dates for the School Calendar------May 14 - Quarter Catch-Up Day, Band Night in Bismarck, Deadline for all library books to be returned to school. ------May 15 - Grand March for Prom begins at 8:30 p.m. ------May 21 - Last Day of Pre-School ------May 24 - School is dismissed at noon. ------May 25 - School is dismissed at noon, and Grades 7-12 Music Festivals Concert & Awards Ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend the concert & awards ceremony. ------May 26 - Last day of school and buses leave at 11:00 a.m.------ May 30 - Graduation will be at 1:00 p.m. with the senior parade immediately following.

On Wednesday, we will be having a dress up day for teacher appreciation week. We invite everyone to dress up as rock stars or simply wear t-shirts of your favorite musicians.
