New England Public School would like to extend its appreciation to Yvonne Stegner for her tremendously generous donation to our music department. She gave us two clarinets, a tenor saxophone, an alto saxophone, and a guitar stand. This donation in turns allows us to rent instruments to our students who choose not to purchase. THANK YOU, YVONNE! You will always be a special member of our Tiger Family.

There will be no 4-5-6 GIRLS BB practice tomorrow because of lack of gym space. On Friday, October 9, 4th grade GBB will scrimmage at 3 pm. The 5th grade game begins at 4 pm. The 6th grade game will follow at 5 pm.

The Junior Varsity Football Team will be playing Grant County immediately following the Junior Football game on Monday, October 5th in Mott. The Junior High game will start at 4:00 PM.

The Varsity Volleyball game scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, October 1st against Hettinger/Scranton has been postponed until October 26th.

The ABC volleyball games against Hettinger-Scranton have been postponed. There will be NO games tomorrow, October 1, but there will be ABC volleyball practice.

On October 9th, New England Public School will once again be engaged in professional development. No school on October 9th. Also, school is not in session on October 22nd and 23rd for Teachers Convention.

All students have now been issued cases for their devices or have had their cases approved by the school. Devices must ALWAYS be in the cases. If chargers are lost or damaged, you may purchase another one from Mrs. Witte for $12.

Any student in 6th, 7th or 8th grade who wants to participate in MathCounts needs to talk to Mrs. Witte by 9 am tomorrow morning (Wed. 9/30/20) Call, text, email, or stop in my room :)

Office 365 K12 accounts appear to be up and functioning. This is the report from Microsoft: We’re seeing improvement for multiple services after applying mitigation steps and we’ll continue monitoring the services to ensure full recovery. Please login and continue working on your homework and other school activities immediately to prepare for tomorrow. If the situation changes, I will send out another notification.

All services tied to K12 authentication are impacted by a known Microsoft issue: 09.28 Microsoft issues Microsoft is aware of and working to resolve issues affecting their services. Issues range from being unable to authenticate to being unable to reach known services such as Teams, O365, Exchange online, etc.. I will send out another announcement when it is resolved, so please watch your communication channels so you know when you can resume using services and complete your homework.
