We are aware that multiple schools in the state have received spoof phone calls stating there is an active shooter or bomb in the building. So far, none have turned out to be real. We have been in contact with local law enforcement. If New England were to receive a threatening call, we will follow proper protocol for such an event, while in contact with law enforcement. To clarify, New England Public School has NOT received a threating phone call but are sharing this out of an awareness for concern, safety, caution and transparency.

Adjustments to transportation protocols will change immediately. Should you wish for your child to be dropped off along the home from an activity, they must be picked up by a licensed driver. Students lacking a valid driver's license will no longer be dropped off en route; instead, they will be transported to the school and must be picked up from there.
