We want to inform you that several illnesses, including pertussis (whooping cough), are currently circulating in our schools. To help prevent the spread of illness, we strongly advise keeping your child at home if they are feeling unwell.
If your child will not be attending school due to illness, please notify us by calling or emailing the school office. Information can be found on our school website under parent resources.

Arrival Times:
Band Students: Report to the music room at 5:30 PM.
All Others: Be in your classrooms by 5:45 PM.
Dress Code:
5th/6th Grade Band: Dress nicely, follow the school dress code, and you may add Christmas colors if you wish.
High School Band/Choir/Music Appreciation: Wear concert black attire, follow the dress code, and you may also add Christmas colors if you wish.
Our 2nd annual Food and Hygiene Drive is back! The drive will take place from December 11th-17th. All grades can participate. There will be a winning class from both the elementary school and the high school. Classes with the most items collected will win a pizza party from Dominoes! Any food or personal hygiene items are acceptable and appreciated, but some items are worth more points than others. The point system can be found on our website and our Facebook page. Please do not send expired food.


Congratulations to our FFA chapter on an AWESOME district leadership conference! Some highlights include Dylan earning a gold award qualifying for state competition with his lawnmower demonstration and our Greenhand quiz team earning a gold team award! Please see photos for more results.

Dear Parents,
Old Man Winter has finally arrived in our area. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed for the weather. Winter attire should include a coat and snow pants or a snowsuit, hat or headwear, boots, gloves or mittens, and gym shoes. Students without proper winter attire will not be able to participate in recess.

The Elementary Boy's Basketball game scheduled in Lemmon today will be played at the Beeler Community Center.
Today's Junior High Boys' Basketball game vs. Beach will only be one 7th grade game starting at 4:00pm @ NEHS. There will be NO 8th grade game.

We wanted to let you know that the Elementary Boys' Basketball game originally scheduled for Thursday, November 14, has been rescheduled to Friday, November 15. This will be a 5th and 6th grade game only, beginning at 4:00 PM in the Old Gym.
The Elementary Boys' Basketball games scheduled for tomorrow, November 14 against South Heart has been postponed until a later date.
The Junior High Boys' Basketball game scheduled for Friday, November 15 at Hettinger/Scranton, has been postponed. When the game is rescheduled, it will be announced.
Today's Elementary Boys' Basketball game has been changed to start at 3:30pm. There will only be a 5th grade and 6th grade game. No 4th grade game today.
The Region 7 Volleyball Tournament Bracket has been set. The tournament starts Friday, November 8 @ 6:00pm as your New England Tigers take on the Beach Buccaneers in first-round action, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals at Trinity on November 11!
