B. Ancillary (Support Staff) Positions
Paraprofessional
New England Public School is seeking a dependable Paraprofessional to support students academically, socially, and behaviorally while assisting classroom teachers with supervision, instruction, and clerical duties. The paraprofessional works with individual students or small groups to reinforce skills introduced by certified staff and help monitor student progress. Responsibilities include supervising students in areas such as the lunchroom, hallways, playground, and during field trips. The position may also assist students with daily activities such as classroom transitions, mealtimes, and personal routines when applicable. The paraprofessional helps maintain accurate records, supports IEP teams when requested, and assists substitute teachers as needed. Professionalism, confidentiality, and positive interactions with students and staff are essential. Training and in-service participation may be required as part of the role. Administrative Assistant
New England Public Schools is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our school office. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with students, staff, parents, and the public. This individual must demonstrate a high level of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional during frequent interruptions or stressful situations. Proficiency with office technology, including word processing, spreadsheets, and data management systems, preferred. The role also requires the ability to accurately follow district policies and procedures, maintain precise records, and prepare reports and communications. A strong customer-service mindset, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and a willingness to assist with basic first aid or receive training are essential. This position plays a key role in ensuring a positive, efficient, and welcoming school environment for all. Applicants

Athletic Director
We are seeking a motivated and organized professional to serve as our Athletic Director. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the school’s athletic programs, including scheduling, compliance, budgeting, and supervision of coaches and events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills, a commitment to student-athlete success, and the ability to build a positive and competitive athletic culture. Substitute Teachers and Paras are always needed and on-going . If you are interested in substitute teaching, please bring a copy of your North Dakota teaching license and 2 forms of ID (driver's license, social security card, passport, etc.) to New England Public School. If you do not have a North Dakota teaching license, please contact the Education Standards and Practices Board (ESPB) at 701.328.9641 to see if you would qualify for an interim substitute teaching license.
